Voices Now are delighted to introduce you to our new Choral Researcher, Elise Boileau who will be working on the Big Choral Census.

Elise has  just completed a Masters in Museum studies following a Humanities Bachelors degree, she is no stranger to academic research. She has spent the past 5 years in academia, researching a wide variety of subjects, from Anthropology to German, History of Art, Sociology and Marketing.

In an internship in Singapore with Salon Projects art curators, she was given her own research project to complete, which involved studying visitor behaviour in all of the city’s museums and reporting on my findings in a presentation given to the whole team.

She has a strong personal interest in choirs and singing, having been an active member of various choirs for the past 10 years. She sings and co-directs the Islington Choir and has recently joined the Roundhouse Choir.

If you are involved in choirs in any way there is a good chance Elise will be in touch with you over the next six months in her effort to find all the choirs in the UK – do support her if you can!
